I am Mrs. Tayloe, a 2nd grade teacher here at McCurdy. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in my five years here. I am married and have two cats and two dogs.

My role as a teacher is to develop lifelong learners whose lifestyle choices always defer to excellence!  Mistakes and failures should be viewed as opportunities to grow and become significant positive change agents for the future, and as Nelson Mandela says, "Education is the Most Powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Mrs. Donna Deall

This is my 38th year in education and my 31st year in Hazelwood. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing
how successful my former students have become. Teaching is a way of life for me, and I am always searching
for new and different ways to motivate my students to become lifelong learners. I enjoy reading, traveling,
scrapbooking, and spending time with my son and my husband. I believe that all children should be challenged
to learn at their optimal level of ability. All students can learn when provided the appropriate instruction and
support. Education is the window of opportunity for students to explore their personal interests and improve their
wealth of knowledge.
