Ms. Abigail Schueler
My name is Abigail Schueler, and I am an SSD resource teacher at McCurdy Elementary. This is my fourth year as part of the McCurdy family but my 9th year as a resource teacher in Hazelwood. I have 10 prior years of special education experience. I have a BA in elementary education from Lindenwood University and am currently working on my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I am certified in elementary education grades 1-6, early childhood special education birth-3rd grade, and special education kindergarten- age 21. I also have educational background as a doctor of physical therapy program. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and watching the St. Louis Blues and Kansas City Chiefs. I am looking forward to working with all of our amazing kiddos this year! I strongly believe in the school/home connection. Mrs. Debi Dethardt
My name is Debi Dethardt. I am married and have a 14-year-old son. My hobbies include listening to music, especially live music, traveling, and watching baseball.
Ms. De'Andrea Blaylock-Solar
De-Andrea Blaylock-Solar is the SSD Social Worker for McCurdy Elementary. She also serves students at Jamestown and Lusher Elementary Schools and Hazelwood Northwest Middle School. She enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with family.
Ms. Ishca Gibson
Hi, I'm an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), I've been with HSD for 9yrs, with SSD 5yrs and working in education for 15+ years . I absolutely love working with our kiddos and love seeing them grow and master their goals!
Mrs. Amy Miller
My name is Amy Miller and I am an SSD paraprofessional. This is my 13th year at McCurdy and my 23rd year in education! Prior to this year, I was a teacher assistant here at McCurdy. I am excited to support students in my new role this year!
My husband and I have 2 boys- Cooper and Calvin. Cooper is in 6th grade and Calvin is in 3rd grade here at McCurdy! As a family, we like to go camping, fishing and play Uno together. When I get a moment to myself, I like to read and garden.
